Patrice, do you can your beats un pickled yourself. If so are they quite a bit better then store bought canned beats? I love even store Bought so I imagine home canned ones are great.

Marinated boneless chicken breast, Lipton cup of soup potatoes, baked beans and fresh fruit salad.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Beautiful! Are those beets grown by you and processed? I grow a lot of beets and enjoy them all summer through fall. I processes some but not as good as fresh from the garden.
Give me a fish, I will eat for a day. Teach me to fish, I will eat for a lifetime

Homemade french fries! Nice goin' Pcr2! All wonderful things there, Bacatrapper! NE Wildlife, I have to admit these were all canned beets. When Zim grows them, we eat them up and never have any left to can. We do like the store bought - and they're easy! Wait a minute - if we were still hungry, we'd be right up there for some of that good stuff! Mushroom ravioli? Oh yeah! Pcr2, I had to look up harvard beets! That looks good! It's funny. Beets always make me think of Canadian walleye fishing just because Zim and I always take a few cans and warm some up with shore lunch! We always make them with butter, salt and pepper and love 'em that way. Sounds very nice, Nittany! Good stuff there too, Dahlgren! Osky! How could anything so red not be great?! Sure it is, Bob! That's a wonderful meal and it keeps getting better as the flavors get heated through again! Snowy, I already admitted guilt there. Canned beets from the store! Those garden ones always do have more flavor though! Absolutely delightful, Hodag! Love the mushroom in there too! That's beautiful, Adam! Can you possibly just add a big dollop of sour cream on top of that? Looks great!
