Just got my first ‘smart TV’. I have only had youtube/Netflix to watch in the past 5 years, no cable or satellite.

I want to get Sling TV or Hulu, or whatever, that I can watch Hockey, and outdoor or the type of shows that we outdoor folk like… Any suggestions that aren’t an arm and a leg each month?

Thanks!

Jeff, I just got a "smart tv"
Pluto TV is free and has tons of those shows. If it's a Samsung you also the Samsung TV Plus installed. It has lots of channels too.

I came across this thread because I was looking into what others think about hulu. I'm thinking of getting it

I've tried most of them. The best I found, that is closest to satellite, is YoutubeTV. It's not cheap but still cheaper than satellite. Sling is ok, but you won't get any local channels. Hulu+LiveTV isn't bad, but for the price I think you'll like YoutubeTV better.

Good to know, thanks.
I have an indoor antenna for local channels. There's more local channels now. One channel shows a lot shows like Larry the cable guy, American Restoration, ice road truckers, mt men etc...

We do Sling and have an antenna. Slings alright, we get every channel available and its 55/month i think. Its mostly crap on now though. I do enjoy rfd tv and wvery now and then the outdoor hunting and fishing channels. TV land has andy griffith for a few hours every morning. Fox News is on along with 7 liberal news channels. Everything else is crap.
