This book is like.....sitting around a campfire listening to him tell stories. I proofread it for him, chose the photos, inside and the front, so if something isn't to your liking........I'm here to tell ya it's not his fault LOL ! There are some pictures of some students he's had, but I'm sorry - there was NO way to put everyone in there. So, I did the random thing.......did what I could. Hope you enjoy it........he's a character, there is no denying that. Good thing is, he can't edit this post and holler at me, as he doesn't have my password! LOL! Laurie

One of my friends and I had slim give us instructions on our line about 5 years ago. He stayed at my house for 3 days so I have heard some of his stories. I am sure the book is worth the money.

I like the story from his first book bout getting his truck stuck, walked umpteen miles to get help. Meantime the temp dropped and froze and he come back got in and just drove out.

Just to be clear, I'm authorizing this advertising thread. MsCat did a lot for us before she abandoned us, so this is sort of a small payback.
I'm sure the book is a good'n. I had the good fortune of riding with Slim to a convention a few years back. The man has some stories, that's for sure. It was a fun trip. Remember the early years of this site. MsCat took a lot of grief from us fools and worked hard for the trapping cause. Will purchase tonight just due to her endorsement and hard work. Thank you Boss Paul for allowing the post! Look forward to the read.
