So I posted my average that I received for 750 something ‘rats I sold to my local buyer on here last week. When I checked the average paid at the recent fha sale I thought the numbers were interesting. There was a $3.80 average on 112,500 ‘rats. Keeping in mind, my buyer paid me $3.38 nose count. When you deduct the 11% commission from the $3.80 average, which is 42 cents, you are left with a $3.38 average. Unless nafa pays appreciably more, I think we’ve found and average.

What percentage of your rats are graded med and smalls? Just curious

The avg depnds on your fur, not necessarily what the auction avg is. My stuff always does way better than the over all posted avg. I have seen a lot of junk that is sent, and that always pulls down the overall avg.

FHA charges 11% commission for everybody or do they have a discount for some of their shippers such as NAFA does?
