Hello,
I caught a bobcat the other day and when I was fleshing it, I the tail ripped off. How much will they doc me on the price?

Should not be any dock at all if it is going to the fur trade. Buyer might not even notice it is missing. Craft market is a different matter, tails are important there.

Some folks will tell you to sew the tail back on. Waste of time in my opinion.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. We've had it happen before and buyer didn't notice till we pointed it out and even then said he could care less about the tail.
