Chinese have the most hogs, but they also consume the most. I have no interest in eating anything produced in China, whole thing has me wondering if I may have been anyway.

I don't know if or what they have for inspectors in Chinese plants, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were having lunch while the US bound meat was going thru. Everything else they send us is poor quality, just good enough to get by. Why would food products be any different. When you are warned not to give your dog Chinese produced raw hide chewy's, how is eating their human food going to be any better.

Saw something on tv once about the salmon coming from China. It seems they had chicken coops over some of the salmon ponds. The salmon were eating the chicken droppings as they fell into the water. That salmon was being sold by Aldis. I love salmon, but pay closer attention to the packaging labels now.

The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

no argument.... but our food industry is second to none.... the beef packing plant here in town has inspectors doing their job...... are you concerned when you go to the grocery store???

If it's so great then why all the recalls. Seems more and more every day.

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

US pork imports 79% of its pork from Canada 10% from Denmark. That don't leave much for the Chi Coms.

I can’t say on here what I really think of JBS, but I wouldn’t trust them. A long time family friend Roger Viadero former deputy inspector of agriculture investigated them more than once just couldn’t prove anything to them at the time but as he said you knew it was them just they had paid off the right people in Brazil to make sure nobody could connect them to anything.

There was quite a scandal a few years ago with Chinese honey. It was an interesting story on what they found in the honey that led to a import ban on Chinese honey, how the Chinese sold it to a South American country who had no import problems with us,how they switched labels that allowed them to sell that same honey to the U.S.
