An older video I just found. Now, this guy can really keep his cool. One heck of a pilot, he makes it but I doubt his underwear did! Skip to 5:50 for the excitement.

Those props are on planes to keep the pilot cool .... they start to sweat when those things stop or come off

My brother-in-law lost the propeller off an ultralight. He was over a guys wheat field and had to set it down in the wheat that was just tall enough to start heading. He had another one at home about 8 mi away. Called my sister to bring it to him. He was more worried about the propeller in the guys wheat than anything else but was able to find it (about like a lawn mower blade, lol). He carried it out of the wheat with some help and was off again the next morning. He knew the farmer and all was well.

lol.... Yea, He was in a spin at the time. I think he picked up that airspeed by quickly falling to the ground. I don't know jack about flying but I know and awesome piece of flying when I see it. It's by God's grace he was high enough at the time to pick up that airspeed.

Not a real flat spin as there was still lift on the wings but it was entertaining.

What a bad deal...looks like it couldn't have happened to a better Pilot though!

I believe that one, although possible was really a model plane and a real plane was cut in at the very last couple seconds of the video where the plane goes off camera. That has been on the net for quite awhile and debunked.

What this doesn't show is that the guy running up to the plane has needle nose pliers in his hand to remove the seat cushion from the pilot's arse !!

Finster are you saying the one I posted isn’t real?

White that F15 is pretty sweet. I’d went air force if it wasn’t for a girl.

Yes, I believe it has been debunked. The wing falling off was a model plane. The controller of the model did land it. However, at the end of the video, the model goes off screen or blurs out for a second and it is then spliced with the real plane. That's what I have heard anyway. Could it happen for real? I suppose so. If a model can do it a real plane should be able to but in this instance it was just a well made fake video.
