Cash is king when the tax man does not get his 25 percent plus. This only applies to immoral people that avoid taxes. Too bad nobody on here avoids taxes. Who would actually do such a thing? Just terrible. Al Capone and Boco
Who is John Galt?

I always pay my taxes. As a matter of fact there is a lot of advantage claiming all your income,as it allows for capital cost allowances on equipment. Plus royalty(tax) is paid on all fur either when sold raw,or when it goes to the tanner, which goes back into the fur program.

If you're not giving me a discount for cash, I use the credit card. I'm not stuck in an either/or, one is always better than the other world. For example: When I go to a trapping convention, I use credit card for room, meals and gas. None of those entities are going to give me a discount for cash. Gas is so much a gallon for CC or cash. Big Mac is not giving me a discount for cash. Room from a chain is probably not going to be discounted for cash, that's why I use Travelocity. (whole nuther subject) you might be able to get a cash discount from a sole owner motel. But once I'm in the convention small, unmarked, non sequential, bills are all I use. I get cash back from the credit card company, and since I pay my bill completely every month, and use the card to pay for things I use and need, I consider this free money.
Back in the day when everybody used cash or wrote checks the business I worked for had the bad check "Wall of Shame", this was usually more than the 2-4% that the CC companies would charge them. So it was in their best interest to accept the CC's guarantee of a lesser amount than have to chase after all the bad check writers.

I prefer to pay with cash whenever I can. If cash isn't an option, then I prefer to pay with a check next. If that's not an option, then I will use a credit card.
