Who’s seeing them? Who’s hunting them?

Don't know about bears or geese. But just down the road there are about 400 swans .

Spring goose hunt will be on around the second or third week of April. Wont see bears out until around third week of May.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

We’ve been having some goofy weather this year. It was plus nine the other day. my roof stopped dripping water last night just before midnight and it’s been dripping again since about 15 minutes ago. I don’t expect to see geese for another 3-4 weeks but I’m sure there’s a few young bears out and about. Seen a few hip rubbed fox yesterday when I took the two oldest to pull our snares. Picked up 3 lynx which were all looking great and I shot a couple bunnies for supper. Looking forward to a busy spring. Our weather and conditions are about a month early.

This past Saturday I was thinking of you and your family Ryan, my grandson and I went to the MTA Spring Meeting for Dist 7 along the way there were literally 1,000's of ducks and geese in every stubble field for many miles it helped that there was standing water there also. Sadly we don't have a spring season here in Montana for waterfowl like many other states. What makes it worse for me I've got both layout blinds and 4 dozen goose decoys loaded in the trailer ready to go. It's going to be awhile before I get out for the spring bear season but I'm really looking forward to it this spring. Stay Safe out there and enjoy your day. Allan
