Jim I have learned to be careful how I post everything on here, there is always someone sitting back looking for absolutes so they can twist what a guy says into something that sounds just like what he just said! LOL

A guys needs to leave "elbow room" and to be vague a bit in every statement or the jump ins will begin when posting anything not cleared by a lawyer if you get my drift!

My big concern it the amount of clueless folks that don't trap doing stupid things and being called trappers when they screw up badly!

Love to be there when a guy turns in a bag of fresh spayed tails the look on their faces would be priceless, they will love the ones I bring in with minimal odor just might get $10.50 for them! LOL I think they have a tiger by the tail in sooooooo many ways going on here but it was not the GFPs doing really the were as surprised as anyone.

Looked over the rules. Looks like It will run April1 through August 31 unless they reach 50,000 tails first. Tails must have the bone in,guess this will slow down hold over furs from being used. Buddy of mine was told they are already investigating guys from out of state that are sending tails already. Also sounds like it could be August before the traps are all done. Closest drop off point is 50 miles from me.

It continues to get better. The morons put a 59 tails per household limit on now. I'm not going to waste my time with it.

Rules being made on the fly it seems but that saves them from the 1099 paperwork I wonder how many guys invested in equipment to do this before the change that will not come out well for them?

We have sold a lot of traps in the last week. I had a guy this morning that came in to price 20 live traps. Lucky he didn't buy them today.

I almost moved on buying the equipment for a serious conibear line but decided to wait for turkey hunting to wrap up because I feared they would make stupid changes like this. They made a program that was rough to begin with but MAYBE had some benefit to it, to a program now that will hand out free money for animals that would have died anyways. I can't see any serious trapper running a line off season for 59 critters.
