Michigan Trappin OP trapper M Joined: May 2014 Posts: 4,828 Southwest Michigan	This morning while checking beaver traps on a damage control job As I walk down to the dam that is built in a culvert with concrete wing dams I caught my boot on something stumble forward fall over the concrete wing dam head first in to three feet of water and roll onto my back Dang I wish someone could have filmed that. Water is very very cold. My son was about 40 yards away but couldn’t see me. He just herd me after I came up from the water yelling “waters really cold” I’ve broke through ice walking near lodges before. But have never went head first in to ice cold water Bloody knee from hitting the on the concrete and really soar back from the fall, and carrying out the beaver while frozen. I’d post a picture of the scene as well as my soaked frozen butt holding a beaver but new iPhone XR will not load phones on this site Note: the iPhone was in my back pocket and is still working Last edited by Michigan Trappin; 04/02/19 02:47 PM.
