Opinions on the questions being hosted?

I don't trap rats but I see the 1st question is about rat zones. Many other interesting questions that cam have profound impact.

I got our district 10s membership list and have Emailed those who have E mail addresses and called some that don't In the Dane county region.
I also with some help printed out about 600 flyers about some up coming resolutions that the Antis are submitting. I had them passed out at the Last Deer and Turkey Expo here In Madison.
Know we will see if this brings out more sportsmen here In Dane county.

It looks like there is also an advisory question on removing the 15 foot setback from beaver dams...

Not that I know of.

But there is one resolution concerning hunting and trapping on public land. And another on banning hunting with hounds.

Along with doing away with the 15' beaver dam set back, I also see;

Get rid of the tags for otter and give us a bag limit

Go back to 3 zones for Mink-Muskrat opener

Allow incidental raccoons in spring, while beaver trapping

I am confused with the online voting, If I am reading it correct your vote will not count towards a specific County but it will overall. These four questions should be the same for all counties, so would an online vote go towards passing these questions?

We need you at the meeting Line Jumper. When your questions come up, raise your hand and testify. Tell the audience that you are a trapper the changes are favorable to your craft. Outdoors folks tend to stick together and will likely support likeminded folks with "skin in the game"

Line jumper is an interesting nickname, especially considering your address:) Technically speaking, Reverse Line Jumper?...….. Its a long story LOL !

Nimzy, I have never jumped the mink-muskrat line, so the Southlands are safe from me, ha. I took the title because of all the places I have lived and trapped.

I also here you on being at the meeting, never thought about swaying the non-trapper vote.

Nimzy, hopefully, your Wisconsin brothers show up and testify. An expansion of the rat season is quite an opportunity.

Yea, right, good luck with that.

My guess is there'll be more trappers on this tonight than in their county seat raising their hands for trapping, hunting and fishing.

That may be so but if you don't inform them and put some pressure they for sure won't show

More opportunity for the guys that show up to pretend their wants and desires reflect all trappers wants and desires.

I'll be there in Sheboygan county, for what good it does.

Probably need a drink or three afterwards.
