May 1 a couple of years ago in Northeastern NE. 8" of heavy wet snow. Turkeys were being turkeys and a couple of them did not make it through the day. I have also seen 100 degrees in early May in KS. The weather out there can vary a lot this time of year.

Have not checked yet this year but IIRC, it was $111 per for up to 3 toms plus a habitat fee last year.

Hey QuietButDeadly, the hotel you were staying at in the pic is less than a half a block from where I used to live. I can't remember, are you the fella I hooked up with to hunt my cousin's ground?

That’s what I was afraid of By the time you get there, it should be pretty well clear for you, but it will be sloppy. The most difficult part will be the trip out there. Blizzard warnings between you and there through Friday. But, you might be able to stay south of that crap.

10-4....that was me! Made a lot of good memories around your old stomping grounds. Planning to head that way again in a couple of weeks.
