Not the best pictures should of took a few extra pictures but what is your guess. There was three tracks that were fairly good and two not clean enough.

Where's the X ? if it's canine it's not like any I've seen. Not enough claw for that deep in the mud either, imo.

Given the width to length ratio, and pad shape; I might guess lion. Print placement and placement pattern might help. Stride distance, over print, staggered line or groups of two or four etc.

^ It appeared to me the animal stepped in then backed out then my guess it jumped across this mud crossing. The mudded area was about 5 feet across and all front foot prints that I could tell. I beleive there where 5 total prints two or three that were just a partial print where it started in then backed out.

I would say it is a Mt lion by the wide center pad on the track by the twenty.

I know I'm new to trapping but I ain't new to tracking and ID'ing. It looks very canine to me.
