Started snowing lightly at 1 pm.At 4 we already have 3 inches of heart attack snow. The worst is yet to come.
With the way the snow is sticking to all the trees,a lot of them will end up going down.

Ditto.

But they're supposed to get snow out in western Oklahoma.

Got about 6-7 inches here so far. They're saying another 5-8 tonight and 11-17 tomorrow. Going to be lots of water around again next week.

At least 10 inches on the ground in eastern South Dakota and that is just the start the weather folks say. Come midnight Friday we may need a periscope to see daylight.

So far just high winds here. Gusts of 60mph at my house. This is the beginning of 2 storm systems rolling through.

Prayers sent for those of you in the eye of the storm.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Ice/rain most of the day switching to snow now I'd rather have a foot of snow then a inch of ice on everything it's bad for everything powerlines, critters and trees.

40 mph winds coming out of Canada into that system.
Better make a extra pot of coffee Tom, you might be with out power for a wee bit
at least those in the Red River basin it's snow and not rain to hit the river fast.
Keep your boots dry Fargo
