Not worried here, two and a half foot eastern king was in the backyard yesterday. Glad to see him hanging around.

Thank you for sparing him Boss...........snakes are God's creatures too. Snakes are pretty cool, crawling around on their belly, no arms or legs, and they thrive! Half of humans can't even take care of themselves!!!

I often wonder why I live in a place where it is increasingly colder longer than it is warm and we have May snow showers to think about. Then one of you crazy people post one of these pictures and I realize I made the right choice.

I agree, somewhat, but when you have to walk thru rattler woods on the high ground to get down to the beavers...then the cotton-mouths ..and I ain't talking about 1 or 2 cotton-mouths either...you feel better if you remove a few of them.

It's not a bite on the legs that worry me once I get to the water..its a bite on the hands, arm, neck, or face as I'm bent over making a beaver set.

I usually have Lacrosse hip boots on... a big diamondback might penetrate those but not likely a timber rattler's or cotton-mouth's fangs will.

We got a lot of copper heads in my neck of the woods.
