Dang I love fishing smallies! So does Susan. When she loses a big one in swift current, you best cover your ears 'cause that always brings out the sailor in that gal! That and getting snagged. Othewise that woman is Sweet Polly Purebred.

All fish were caught on a cotton Cordell Big O in perch color. I lost a couple right at my feet, I understand your wives reaction. Lol, it sure was a lot of fun.

nice,we have no where near the population on the river we used to between muskie stockings and the otters.best fighting fish pound per pound around.

Nice smallies. So different from their cousins. We used to have good fly fishing for them in the spring in northern CA, sometimes alongside lake run rainbows.
