Me and a buddy were standing in his driveway last summer and saw one hummingbird attack another and put its beak through its competitors neck. I separated them and they both flew off. They seemed unharmed. Bad little dudes.

I put feeders out last weekend. Lots of trees flowering so should be here soon.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

Had one come to an empty feeder yesterday. Filled the feeder today and had two males coming to it the rest of the evening. This is the earliest that I've ever seen them here.

It's May 1, just wondering how far north the hummers have made it. Any sightings recently?

We had three around here all winter. When everything started blooming, they stoped coming to the feeder. Will see them around the yard later.

We are covered up with them here at the farm in SW Missouri. Must have 15-20 going around the front feeders and another 10-15 around the back feeders. Numbers really picked up 2 days ago.

We had 2 big groups come through, about 3 weeks ago. Now, we will keep a few around until they leave in October.
