can you folks help me out on what the reasonable rates are on beagle pups?

we recently lost our ol girl this past Monday.......I know I need to get another for our granddaughter ....because kids need a dog........just gonna be a tad until the sting wears off before we commit

around here its 150-200 a pup.

We usually sell ours for $100-$400 each depending on the bloodlines and how good a rabbit dogs the parents are. If your not looking for a good bred be able and just a companion I'd say you could get one for $50

Around here it is $100.00 with papers, 50 without.

A seriously underrated, undervalued breed of dog. I can never understand why people will pay a $1k or more for a mixed breed crap eating alley dog and think they've really got something.
Labradoodles? Chowzers? Puggles? Sure they're cute, but get serious!

I was getting 350 male to 600 female with good proven blood vaccinated, and registered.

If I got them started? Another 200 easy

I bought two down in MS for 65 a piece and brought them home to my other 3. Bought a well started dog from the Amish in January for $100. I still have never seen papers or registration run a rabbit. But, I have seen plenty of high dollar registered dogs that I would not feed.

If I cant go see a dog over 6 months old run - I wont buy it.

In Field Trial Beagles they must be registered or you can't run them. One of the tenants of the UBGF Is to "Improve the breed" with careful attention to bloodlines.

Around here the price seems to avg some where betwee $150 to $300 for registered beagle pups.
And for beagle pups that are not registered the price is usually in the $50 to $100 range.

I've checked out the UKC talk and classified forums in the past and I'm pretty sure they have a section on beagles as well as other hounds.

I get 150.00 to 400.00 depending on where I advertise them. there not registered. like treedablackdog said papers don't run rabbits. I want dogs that aren't gun shy and will handle good.
