Will pay a stipend to anyone who's qualified to reduce 300 words to 250, to suit me.

I might could give it a go, but I don't want to be paid in stipends, I prefer cash!
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Jim It is your own professional biography, James ? PM it to me and I will cut you down to size. Seriously though, I'd take a look at it. I've helped a few people cut down excessive wordiness in their resumes, etc. walleyed

Do you need to be a professional to have a professional bio written?
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Remember, simple sentence's! I'm from southern Appalachia. People have a hard enough time understanding my dialect let alone my manuscript!

How much is it worth to you to have an exceptional biography? First draft? Each rewrite?
Put cash on the barrelhead and we can talk.

Do you need to be a professional to have a professional bio written? Even if you are a professional at writing bios, it's always a good idea to have someone else at least proof read what you write. Whatever you write yourself always makes sense to you the writer; that doesn't mean it will make sense to the reader.

James, I'm not volunteering to edit your bio. If I were to, it would only be because I would really like to actually read your bio. Mark

Thanks to all offers to help. An ex-editor volunteered to help by PM, and he's chewing up my bio now.

Whatever you write yourself always makes sense to you the writer; that doesn't mean it will make sense to the reader. Exactly. If I had a full-time editor, maybe my posts would make sense to everyone. Jim
