Im taking a break. Completely replaced all the water lines in my house. No idea how old the water lines were. I bought the place 32 years ago and they are at least that old. Had one break. Didn't freeze just broke. So replaced all of them with pex. Just need to put some stuff back together and put tools away. Probably have to replace the line from the meter coming in next. Think I will wait till it breaks though.

An acquaintance who owns a car shop said his metal lugger had quite a few 3/4 ton truck brake rotors. My response was like Forrest Gump - ran over there and jumped in the lugger and started throwing out the 30 lbers! So then I went and bought some more 2/0 chain and worked out more drowning sets.

Fun.

Spring clean up, raking, trimming and cutting brush. Mowing lawn Monday, first time this season.
Hauled a load of fire wood to daughter & son-in-law's river lot this week. Realized I needed new tires on utility trailer so bought two new Radials. What a difference the way the trailer pulls with new tires...lol.

Made some Snake Hooks for family members the other day.

Just got up wolfy. Set some Easter gift out for my two older boys, sort of a tradition we have once they got older.
Now I am making myself some.coffee and a light breakfast then will head out the door for a 10 mile run. Trying to prep for Lincoln marathon coming up in couple weeks. I've ran three marathons a year for many years, it keeps me in shape and is something I enjoy doing. At 53 I hope have many more ahead of me yet, too.

actually you hit it pretty much right on the head lol ! It's also alot quicker this way. Just a double over hand knot with a loop about the length of the hook,slip the loop through the hook eye loop around the shank twice and pull. I've honestly replaced hooks be for this knot broke.

need to get you a $20 angle grinder and a cut off wheel boss !
