OK here's the final last word re meetings--let's hope:
To the Alaska Trapper’s Association,
I have spoken telephonically today with a couple members of your Association. For clarity I wanted to send this email to make sure the information goes out to everyone.
The public hearing for AO 2019-50 will be opened tonight 4-23 because it has been publicly noticed. However, Assembly Member Petersen intends to make a motion to keep the public hearing open, and continue it to a later meeting. What this
means is the public hearing will effectively be spanned over the course of two meetings, tonight and at a following Assembly meeting probably May 7 (possibly May 21), this will be determined at tonight’s meeting. This email is to inform members of your organization
that if they intend to come and testify at tonight’s meeting that they may do so, but that it is item 14.V. on the Agenda this meeting so it may take hours to get to and in May it will be in the 13 section, so it will happening much earlier on in the meeting.
Members of the public may only testify once so they may wait it out at tonight’s meeting or come again at the continued public hearing date. If you have any questions you may call me at the number below.
Sincerely,
Legal Assistant
Municipality of Anchorage
Office of Assembly Counsel
