Need help. Could some one give me the length of the dog on A Sleepy Creek #3 offset coilspring trap? Need from center of the eye to end of dog please. Thanks

I have the longspring, not the coil spring which was requested. If they are the same dog i can measure the longspring

I use a lot of #3 Sleepy Creek coils and with very good success. I prefer to bend the end of the cross piece up much closer to the jaw and cut the dog off accordingly. I also crimp the eye of the dog tighter. I get much less slop and travel in the trigger when I do this. Hope this helps.
