Went through the property today and flagged all the chuck holes. I ran out of flags after flagging 38 chuck holes. And some of those spots had multiple dens so It will be a very lucrative venture. The rats are going to be a bit more work but just as lucrative. Got to love these ADC jobs.

I trapped this spot 4 years ago and took 47 chucks off that property and charged them $100.00 to set It up and $25.00 per chuck. You do the math. LOL

Nobody loves muskrat jobs outside of the money paid. I've yet to find an easy one. Especially if they are during the closed season.

$25.00 muskrats Is to cheap. At todays rat prices It would take at least 10 rats to make that kind of money. LOL

Should take about 3 days to catch all the chucks not to sure about the rats.

Only took you 80 years to find bigger suckers than the average fur trapper.

Nice work Beav. Nice chunk of money for playing around. LOL

57 years trapping. It's who I am. Every day is still as exciting as it was when I was a kid but a little more work.

I have caught mink, opossums, skunks, coon, rabbits and the occasional groundhog out of groundhog holes. I have seen fox and coyote use groundhogs for dens too. Groundhog holes are prime real estate for dens.
