Killers. I just watched my sister tell her grandkids that their mommy is dead. 29 years old. Lost her kids to the system. She made many, many mistakes, and tried to get them back. It was easy, to easy, to go the dr. and tell them the next story for pills. I’m mad at myself, for being mad at her, for not doing more. We had her go to mental health. I know more could have been done.
If you take them, be careful. If they are in your house and you don’t need them, get rid of them. People like my neice will get them. If you know someone that has a problem with them, tell them. Talk to their families, their doctors even. Ticking someone off is better than going to their funeral.

sorry to hear that and agree 100 percent with everything you said but you can't beat yourself up over others actions especially when no matter what you said would of made a difference.at this point it's all about the kids.

1/2 the country is on drugs of one type or the other to alter their mood/perception of their situation. Maybe more than 1/2 when you add in chronic alcohol users. Its a sad situation and why you run across so many horses backsides each day while your out and about.

They sure do, that's why I started listing it as an allergy. That'd wild they did that but it doesn't surprise me. I don't blame you for being cautious with teens in the house. Yeah they can get it somewhere but it beats the quick easy access. I would rather see weed be legalized then have these rx's available.

Sorry to hear of your family's loss.
If it was an accidental OD, then her doctor may be partly responsible.
If it was an intentional OD, then it makes no sense to blame the tool she used, any more than if it had been a gun.

When you go to a DR. Take their prescriptions, go to mental health, take their prescription, go to a specialist for something else, take their meds....See the problem. She was using the system to get pills, to get high or whatever they do to you.
Don’t compare this to guns. You shoot a gun you know what happens. You take MEDICINE you think your getting help. Next thing you know, your hooked, and you can keep getting pills, must be ok, the drs are giving it to me. Please don’t reply for an Argument James. You want to discuss the issue, by all means, continue.

Sorry for your loss, but James made a valid point. Those drugs help a lot of people terminally ill with cancer. I agree they are overprescribed in a lot of cases, but not always the doctors fault. A lot of stuff on the streets now is knock off black market opioids from china, smuggled across porous borders.
