Any ideas what I got going on here lol, every year around November I get this. This year it’s late, started last month. I blamed it on laytex gloves in the past, never showed up until now.. iv been wearing leather gloves within the last month a lot... don’t know if it has anything to do with it... it don’t hurt, or itch... it’s just there... any ideas? I went to dr. Last year got no info on it just cream.... my wife no problems... I don’t think it’s ringworm, it happens every year... just dry skin?

X2 on eczema. I have had eczema during the winter months for 20 years or more, always in the same spots some times it itches and sometimes not.

bulldozerjoe, what you have is a vitamin problem from your gut, or more to the point, the sun. As this heals up with sunshine it is a Vitamin D problem which is what the sun makes in the human body. Numbers of Caucasian Canadians have health problems in winter and it is all due to not having enough sun.
I found this link in a search engine.

The Truth about Vitamin D and Eczema | It's an Itchy Little World
[Search domain itchylittleworld.com/vitamin-d-and-eczema/] https://itchylittleworld.com/vitamin-d-and-eczema/
However, recently the consumption of vitamin D has shown to be just as effective in treating and healing eczema. In fact, several studies have been conducted to determine the levels of vitamin D present in the skin of those with eczema, as well as the effects of vitamin D in treating eczema. Studies with Vitamin D and Eczema

I would get a bottle of natural Vitamin D. I take two gel caps in the morning all the time, and it helps with everything not having the sun bothers me in my skin.

Mine is always on my hands, especially splits finger tips, and a patch on my rear. Dr will tell you not to wash your hands any more than you have to. Lotions with oatmeal seem to work pretty well especially if used right after washing your hands. This helps trap the moisture in. Problem with prescriptions for eczema is that they only work for a short period of time before becoming ineffective.

I have psoriasis, but I’m not going to diagnose you. If it doesn’t go away, go see a Doctor. If it is psoriasis, take a lot of fish oil, a little sun is good, but to much is bad. Stay away from alcohol if possible and eat a good diet. I have been in remission for almost 5 years now, almost about the same time I divorced my wife. Stress can also trigger it. Also drink plenty of water,
