I’m tickled if they all get put back in the barn at all.

I got too many to relax the springs on, plus I’m lazy. My all time favorites besides the Belisle was the BMI’s. I don’t know if they are still that good or not. I know especially the 280 size BMI’s were really strong and still are. I’ve actually not owned enough Belisle body grips for long enough to judge. They seem to be real quality stuff.

storing them I don't think it matters but when you boil them set off never boil with springs loaded

I store the 330s with the safeties off. Not saying it is right or wrong, just how I have always done it.

Ohio, Old fart to some.
I have made quite a few bodygrips and have my springs made in Springfield Ohio. I asked the manufacturer this very question. They laughed and said " it does not matter".

Good enough for me.

Pretty much how I roll. I do let the springs off if I am dipping them. Haven’t noticed any weakness in my Bridger 280’s or Belisle 120’s/330’s.

What weakens them is constant springing and unspringing(like a vehicle leaf spring). And Rust.

You both saved me a lot of typing! For both body grip springs and vehicle springs.
