Sheepdog1 OP trapper S Joined: Sep 2015 Posts: 1,621 Livingston, Texas	In thirty years of seeing all kinds of bad things, sad things and the unimaginable. I have never shed a tear in my uniform, how I haven't is beyond me but tonight, tonight I did. Dealt with the most beautiful 2 year old little boy shot in the head by his 3 year old sibling. You cant un-see things like this nor can you escape the sounds of a grieving mother at the sight of her little angel no longer living. I think every nurse, police officer, Paramedic, technician, chaplain and clerical staff had red teary eyes. One of the worst things you can deal with as a LE. I know this little one is in a far better place than we are. Thanks for listening and for your prayers, especially for the grieving family. I will be fine. I just need to sort it out in my own way.

I think people forget often that first responders, LE, and even front line hospital staff are just regular people.
