I have a RK 2" and RK 3" auger but does anyone know if he or anyone else makes a 4" version that would fit in a cordless drill?

Take a heck of a drill to run a four incher!

Might just have to use my 3" and enlarge the hole. It's not for trapping I just need to make about a 4" hole to anchor military flag holders Legion, VFW, Women's Aux. and all veterans markers at the cemetery then fill with cement.

I have a 4” auger that RK made 6-7 yrs ago. Trapperchick gave it to me and said she got it from RK and it was an experimental model... It was originally a hand driven model (like a bit and brace) but I cut that off and made it fit in a drill. It starts with 2” flighting for about 6” then jumps up to 4” flighting. And yes, it is tough to run in a cordless drill unless you’re in pretty sandy soil...

Thanks, I was thinking of something that would be lighter than using my Earthquake auger, I'll have to try the 3" and see if it will work OK.

You know anyone with a Stihl BT45 power auger. Darn handy piece of equipment to have around the house, a ton of uses besides during trapping season.

My friend over in IL. has the Stihl BT45 with a 5" auger and can drill a hole 20" deep in just a couple of seconds flat. But he has great soil with very few rocks if any. He runs his 2,100 acre farm trapline out of his side-side making it very easy. They are about $500 with the bit, they are pretty light weight to use & carry.
