Okay, what do you guys recommend for river walleye bank fishing rigs that works best for you. I have been using a lindy tipped with a minnow and doing just okay.

swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

You have to remember that 1 out of 3 Democratic Voters is just as dumb as the other two.

Pickerel rig.
If you keep nailing them on the bottom hook,Put a sinker at each end of the rig.

use 1 or 2 sinkers ( depending on current) about 8 inches up from floating jig, when rod tip vibrates count to ten then set hook, rarely lose one.

Not a big Walleye fisherman but my best friend is a non stop Walleyer in the Detroit River..Went with him a few times and all we used was a jig head green or yellow and a crawler only hooked through the top, the rest just dangles on the jig...That’s his bread and butter and he does very well...

Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes......
Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....

ambush >> thanks. I picked up about 5 dozen crawlers from my lawn a few weeks ago. I also have minnows I trap in the creek so will give that a go.

I don't use live bait, probably could catch a ton more if I did, but I enjoy cranking. One of my go to's was mentioned above; a twister on a jig head. I prefer a 3" yellow split tail on a 1/4 oz head. They'll hit that when ignoring other favorites like spinnerbaits, Rapala jointed and lipless Rat L Traps. A dark colored six or eight inch plastic worm rigged weedless with no weight and swum slowly at night can be deadly too.

Eh...wot?
