My season starts tomorrow. Hope I do as well. But if not, I’m thrilled with the season. I called for my son and daughter and my son called for his mom. Got video of both that I called for. Great times. Daughter first time back in the woods/fields in ten years

16 year old son just texted and got his first one all by himself! He doesn’t realize it but when he gets back he owes me for the last 8 years of guiding lol. Very proud of him. We had some great hunts together the last 8 years. Makes me proud to see him do it by himself.

congrats!
2 buddies and I just got back from Michigan. got there thursday and got settled in. we all killed birds friday. we stuck around and enjoyed the company and Michigan a bit.

Just passed on a bearded hen. Very long beard for a hen. But I got one last spring and got her mounted. Waiting on a big Tom. I hope

I’ve been after a bearded hen for a longtime...this year I’ve seen 5, just maybe that’s a sign...
Are your Toms quite lately? Up here they are...
Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes......
Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....

Not much gobbling after they hit the ground. Seen four hens and right now have a male (not sure if Tom or jake) way out in the cornfield
