Josh Bryan is the man responsible for the work.

Is it possible to see more of his work ? He is no doubt a gifted taxidermist.

Nice work! From that straight on direction, it looks exactly like when a mamma otter periscopes up and barks at me when she has little ones nearby.

Your assumption would be wrong....the rest of his work is phenomenal....bobcat faces in particular, which are never satisfactory to me, he nails it....

If y'all Facebook its worth a look...

Thought I was a good trapper until I started trapping coyotes......
Thought I was a good bowhunter until I targeted mature bucks....

Seen otters swimming but that’s it so I can’t comment. The bobcat however, I have caught, his mounts are the best I’ve seen so far. Those cats look alive! Kudos on the otter mount as well. Haven’t seen one negative comment so it must be good.

Just curious about the fur color; is it really as brown as it looks in the picture? Most coastal otter I've seen from Washington to Alaska are much darker than that.

Lived and trapped in Oregon most of my life, and caught a lot of otter. I noticed that most, but not all the otter in the Willamette River system are brown, but some are dark, or nearly black. Those that I caught in the Cascade foothills or the Coast Range to the ocean were nearly all dark. I wonder if Beaverpeeler has noticed the same. He's caught more than me.

All the otters my son has caught all are grey and brown. We live in the north Valley.

You got yourself an awsome otter mount there. Those are some of the best cat mounts I have ever seen too!
