Just had some powerful thunderstorms move through our area with winds over 80 mph and large hail. We had rotation go right over our area but no tornadoes confirmed. Lots of power poles down and some buildings torn up in town. Semi blown over on the highway to. We lost a tree and quite a few shingles blew off our house. Neighbors lost all siding on west side of their house and others had west facing windows broke out by wind and hail. Any other Kansas guys have any damage?

Plenty of hail. 3.5inch rain since dark. Not much wind. Sounds like you guys got hammered

Had a twister just north of us two nights ago. Tis the season. Hit the fringe of our second largest city and wasn’t that impressive. One of these days the big ones going to hit somewhere other than the middle of a corn field.

Yeah we also have been lucky that no bigger cities have been hit. Hopefully it stays that way. We still don't have power, hoping it comes back on this morning.

Lots of storms, Nessy. I've still only seen three tornados with these old eyes. People from other areas always think the worst about tornados, but they ain't that big a deal! Hear a roar, stick your head in a bucket! lol

I dodged 2 last week on my drive home... Never did see them. But they uprooted a bunch of trees south of town and then went north and hit Miami, OK.

Usual wild Spring.

I’ve seen three tornadoes since 2011 including the one that wiped out most of Reading, Ks. Several other times seeing funnel clouds and rotating wall clouds. My part of Kansas doesn't see nearly as many tornadic storms as we used to. Most seem to be in Oklahoma and Texas anymore. The three tornadoes i’ve seen came from storms that had no watches or warnings on them. Thats the scary part is they can happen with most any storm.

I have seen two in my years. Both while I was out fishing 4 to 6 pm.

Thankfully, we don't have tornadoes in Idaho. There was one confimed several years back that hit a trailer park and did almost 4 million dollars of improvements.
