I came across this log and I could see lots of sign of bears walking down it so I put a Covert scouting cam on it and set it to video. The number of bears using this log is amazing, plus I got videos of fishers, turkeys, coons, coyotes, etc. I have more than 100 videos in the last two weeks and the bears have wiped out my camera three times, but I keep putting back up the support stand. I'll leave it for a couple more weeks then put up a full YouTube video on all the stuff that went down that log, it's pretty amazing. Here's a short teaser.

Great videos Bernie! Do you know how high that branch is sticking off to the left on the back scratch tree in the second video? Their heads were touching that branch pretty easily. Trying to get an idea how big they are cuz a couple of them looked pretty darn big.

It's about 6-1/2 foot maybe just over. Some of those boars are 400 pounds.

You can hear the neighbor's roosters in a couple too, they are 1/2 mile away and there's a stock car track 2 miles away so you can hear them in any video that was taken on a Saturday night.

X2. Bear hunting is on my bucket list. Keep thinking about going to Arkansas and trying to tag one.

If I lived in Kansas and wanted to hunt close to home, I would go to Eastern Oklahoma. Very expensive nonresident tags, but lots of bears
