Pretty is right. Beautiful color. It is a nice bear and I sure would be tempted to take it. I did a search on color phase bear and your picture and name turned up on my first search.

Yeah I kinda lead that category I guess. A lot has been written about my completion of the Grand Slam of color phase bears with a bow.

Yeah I kinda lead that category I guess. A lot has been written about my completion of the Grand Slam of color phase bears with a bow. That's pretty neat. I recognized your face immediately but didn't get your name until I scrolled down further in the article. It's not a an article you wrote but you're highlighted in it.

Pretty little bear Sask. those don’t generally get very big in this country as their color makes hunters impatient and they shoot them young. Bucksnbears helped a handicapped young lady a few years ago to one like that in his area that tipped the scales over 400 so there is always hope. Great picture.

Good looking bear Sask, I like the heavy forelegs. I very rarely get colored bears here, but the last few years I have seen brown Cubs, time will tell if they are left to grow. My son took a bear here three years ago that was a true grey color, and about 15 miles east at that same time some folks had me over to check out a terrific silver/cinnamon that was visiting their place regularly and he was a beauty but I could not get over that way to bait it and to my knowledge that fall was the last they saw it. You probably have a few more good surprises coming on your bait. Should have plenty of time yet before the fur starts slipping.

Osky I hope he sticks around I think I had him a bit on my bait two miles north of this one then he disappeared. I had a couple good ones I was watching then we had snow and cold and everything disappeared. So far they haven’t came back yet. Our season goes till the end of June. Last year I shot that big one on June 6th and his hide was good still. I kept my baits going the rest of the moth and any big bear kept a good hide. They don’t rub and get scruffy like the litttle ones
