I didn't spend much time on analysis of the results, but I did notice that Sharon donated at least 12 (twelve!) prints to the auction, bringing in a total of $785 for the defense fund! Every trapper in North America should be in awe of her art work, and, as well, should be in awe of her fantastic generosity in her donations. Personally, my hat off to her especially as well as everyone else who donated or bid on the auction items.

Jack

I did not know that Trapperman had an auction. I suspect more people would bid at it if it was better advertised on this page. I, like many other forum users have a tendency to ignore the different colored stickeys at the top of the page, probably to our detriment.

Thanks to Sharon for donating her great art.

Keith

Ditto on this! I was not paying close attention either and missed the entire fund raiser.

The Tman auction thread has been stickied to the top for over a month. Not sure how anyone that visits the forum regularly could have missed it.

Maybe it was TOO obvious, being at the top......

The announcement has been tacked to the top of this page since March 22nd, and it's still there.

Sharon's contributions have been over the top. Her generosity has been a major factor in the success of our fundraisers. She deserves a huge round of applause. Thank you so much Sharon!

I look so forward to these auctions. There are always great items to tempt me. That case knife had me on a mission to not let it become a 'grinner skinner"
Sharon drinks are on me if you come to September Rendezvous.

Thank you to everyone that donated items.

PS - Cindy, I had that Poker chip set mailed to my son who is in the US Navy. He loves it and has been fleecing fellow Sailers and Marines out of their hard earned money!

laugh I need to start saving for next year's knife. I believe a "grinner skinner" is in my future! Until then, I purchased a set of knives from Gulo! Very nice they are.

I was fortunate to end up with one of Sharon's prints, PLUS a bonus print she sent! Thanks for all you do Sharon!

Thanks to all those who give.

I ended up with that knife And I assure you it will not be skinning any grinners .Had either of you placed another bid it was yours . It is a great looking item to add to my collection .I have had my illness of collecting knives since a while back , Sometimes it goes in remission but for a great looking knife that it is I got sick again .Thanks to who ever donated it .It was a nice item to have on the auction

Also consider how much Ms Sharon donates to the cause in the form of shipping those prints. Gotta be another $20 a pop !

Maybe trappers should consider buying directly from her website also . I THINK she has a site where her work is displayed. Maybe she should have a link in her signature.
