I just heard the Colorado DNR Is asking people to take down the soccer nets at night because animals are getting caught up In them.

So know I suppose all you bobcat trappers will be putting out baited soccer nets LOL I can see It know just attach some mechanical birds In the net and get your knife ready.

I would think elk would be entangled the most.

Seen deer get caught in one a couple times at the school I went to when I was a kid, there the soccer field was right next to the woods and deer would come out and graze on the field grass all the time

There was a gangly, not athletic kid, named Ward on one of my soccer teams, when I was a kid. Once he tripped on the soccer ball and fell into the net and got so tangled up both coaches had to work to get him out. We could never figure out how he got entangled so bad. One of the other kids on my team intentionally tried to get stuck in the net and could not.

looks like a big minnow seine..i saw the picture and figured someone got sick of them dang cages.

A lot of beaver taken in nets set under the ice back in the day.
They were made illegal because too many were being taken in the nets,especially by the native trappers.
