Can anybody help me with this bird? These pictures are the best I can do as all I have is my phone camera and they are zoomed and through my kitchen window. The bird has the appearance of a very fat sparrow, about two or three times the size of a sparrow. I thought maybe a Lark but his bird has a very short beak/bill. It was also at the jelly feeder, with a Oriole, eating grape jelly. My bird book says we have Horned Larks in my area but this bird lacks the horns and the beak does not appear long enough. I can't figure it out. Just looking at it, it looks like some kind of mini-hawk. I wish I had I had better pictures. I live in North West Ohio.

That's it. That's it. I have had male Grosbeaks at the jelly feeder. I never knew what a female Grosbeak looked like. Thank you.
