Pepperoni is one thing I don't like on a pizza. Tastes like a cheap meat whatever it is? Mushrooms are a good thing.
swampgas chili and schmidt beer makes for a deadly combo

Had a friend in California send me a bunch of lobster . He had made me a pizza once using lobster and it was excellent. So I did something similar , but used dandelion greens in place of the spinach he used. Was a hit ! That sounds pretty good.

chef boy r de double pizza mix. make both crusts at once. put on standard round pizza pan. cook for 10 minutes. take out of oven and add your toppings, sauce and cheese. cook 10 minutes.. pizza joints are too far away from me, it would be cold before I got it ! Same goes for me. Pizza joints are hard to come by. East is 64 miles round trip, north 140, west 140, south 80. I love a good pizza!! Pile on the meat and cheese. 6th food group pizza. 7th biscuits and gravy. When I was in grade school the teachers lied and told us there where just 5.

I don't like thick crust pizza, too filling and too doughy. Like eating a loaf of bread. Thin crust only. For toppings I like mozzarella cheese, a good sauce, hamburger, onion, olives, and double those 3 toppings.

Not a what but a who,...Sammys …. pizza hands down! I'm onboard with that. Unfortunately they don't exist outside Minnesota. Shrimp and Mushroom is one of my favorite combinations. And if you really want to narrow down the region; The Shamrock in South Superior, WI does it even better. At least that was true when I last visited about ten years ago. I ended up in South Siberia today, so decided to see if that Shamrock lived up to my memory. I have a glass of Castle Danger Cream Ale in front of me waiting for aforementioned specimin. Resulting review to follow.

It's funny how people swear by certain pizza chains, but other swear AT them, and how toppings vary with people's tastes.
Loved Mama Rays (great mozzarella cheese) and Cici's pizza, (loaded with fennel seed and great cheese), when we lived in Cleveland. Got turned on to Pizza Hut when we moved to Wisconsin.
Pizza, IMO, should have only three toppings... Italian sausage, black olive and mushrooms... OK, maybe peppers and onions too.
Now I love anchovies on my cold, chilled salads, but we bought an anchoviy pizza once.... It was absolutely the worst thing we ever tried. You could tell it was bad, while it was still,in the box. Anchovies weren't spoiled, but it was probably the getting them hot to cook the pizza that intensified the saltiness in the fish.
Going to try Red's Savoy Pizza next... Lots of them in the Twin Cities.
I've got to go ... I'm drooling all over my iPad.

I ended up in South Siberia today... review to follow: No doubt still a good pizza. The presentation may leave a bit to be desired, and overall not quite the perfection I remember. I'll give it a 94.3 I did get an additional cheese and sausage one to take home for the wife, so it couldn't have been too bad.
