Is it best to cut up or grind ? I got some salmon fillets with the skin on that's freezer burnt that I'd like to make oil from. Thanks in advance

if it don't have fat on the fillets I doubt you get much if any oil. I find spoonbill renders faster if ground course. But Im far from a expert fish oil guy

To get a reasonable amount of trout or salmon oil you will need a bucket or so of raw fish to make it worth while. 20-30#
