As I waited for the kids to get out of school I witnessed something amazing. 
I saw a roadrunner so I watched it through the rain soaked windshield. Within 5 seconds of watching she jumped into a Bush and came out with a sparrow in her beak. I continued to watch it eat.
I've seen them lots of insects but never make a kill on a bird.

They eat a lot of snakes and lizards. Also eat a lot of ground nesting bird eggs like quail. I don't much like roadrunners, I'd rather have the lizards and quail. Is odd to see one kill another bird.

It was 330.
Like turkeys Boco. They don't fly far and prefer to be on the ground. It's cool to watch them fly even though it's not for long

When I was just a kid, we watched a magpie kill a young sparrow and eat it. Never knew they did that sort of thing.
