Wright & McGill = Eagle Claw
Granger = fit/finish quality= fairly high
model = No. MA-9 (the 9 = 9')

I guess from the color that it is fiberglass from the late '50s - early '60s, it was made in Denver Colorado. The company still sells rods and has been around since the '20s.

Thanks fellas. I didn’t have a model name like most so I couldn’t figure out what it was. I am going to sell it any idea of value.

Back in those days the length was the biggest difference between rods in a brand, and the finish levels determined the price, The same rod could catch any kind of fish and use any kind of bait. unlike today when a guy might have to carry as many as a dozen rods in order to catch one kind of fish, a fellow told me recently that on average he took 15 rods when chasing bass. Each bait needing a different rod. So model names and numbers had less importance- usually any model names used were sales/advertising differences rather than difference in the actual blank.
You can search the 'net for that rod and see if it has sold recently, but I'd say it's worth more to fish with or as a wall decor- probably 5-20$ at a yard sale or flea market. I'm only really familiar with W&M (Eagle Claw) fly rods from that era, but they are very good fishing tools and have little resale value. I think 9' is unusual in a spinning rod from that time period, as I recall all I saw were in the 5-6' range.
You could say "Granger" is the model, the name came from a company the W&M bought out.
