I don't think anyone of those places give a crap who's boycotting them or they wouldn't have made the stand they did to tick off a few trappers. lol

They still won't get any of my money, period. It may mean nothing to them, but it means something to me.

I dont have a problem with Lowe's if it hadn't been for Lowe's my house wouldn't have got built. Walmart pays my wife way more then I would pay her so I can't complain about them. For all the rest of the boycotts y'all have named I never did business with them anyways.

I don't boycott anyone, I shop where I feel like shopping, looking for convenience and decent prices.

I will not go to a local shooting range near me that has terrible customer service and treats customers horribly and tells lies about state laws. But in their defense, they are the only indoor range in the county that is open to the public so where else will people go.

Maybe not so much when it comes to trappers since the trapping community isn't that large compared to hunters and fishermen. But, the smart ones don't want to tick off hunters or fishermen.

I'm curious 1) what is the state penalty for carrying on posted premises 2) does your list include those businesses that the state or feds say it's illegal to carry at (USPS, schools fed buildings etc...)?

Here if a business is posted it's only a pity misdemeanor, NM state law prohibits carrying at bars and places like applebees.

Not sure, but I heard in MN if you walk into an establishment that prohibits concealed carry and they ask you to leave. If you do leave, nothing happens. If you don't, you can be arrested and depending on the circumstances, it could be a misdemeanor or more.

I guess if I stood with all those biases I should buy everything through Amazon (take my chances) and say "up yours" to all brick and mortar stores that provide jobs for our families. Thank goodness we have that choice.

Same here trapper7. If the business does not have a posted sign and the request has to be requested by management of a business or the owner or tenant of a residence and it's a misdemeanor here.

The thing about walmart is they are one of the biggest or the biggest chain in the country which means they have the most employees nation wide. They pay low wages so many of these employees are on government subsidies. So keep shopping there and keep supporting welfare. It's your tax dollars. I refuse to shop there.

If the jobs are so bad, why don’t folks find other jobs? Are they being forced to work there?

This is just terrible... having to be on government assistance making $175,000 for managers and $14.26 and $11 for everyone else.

Walmart revealed its U.S. store managers are making an average of $175,000 a year while full-time hourly workers are earning about $14.26 per hour, according to the company’s 2019 Environmental, Social & Governance report released Wednesday. The company hires more than 1 million people in the U.S.

Newly hired employees, however, will start at $11 per hour or more — above the federal minimum wage rate at $7.25 per hour, according to the report. Key department managers can start earning as much as $24.70 per hour.

“We’re investing in our associates through wages along with better educational opportunities, benefits and training,” CEO Doug McMillon said in the report.

Treating employees like that, It's surprising they can keep the doors open. Oh, and Walmart is the largest retail company in the world. Must be doing something right!

Interesting thread. I am with ADC. I think it’s way more effective to put a good face on trapping, 2nd amendment and so on in your own community. I don’t go to Walmart because I like to buy made in USA, but I don’t consider it boycotting as much as supporting USA workers. I know some stuff is just assembled here, but I try my best.
