You all know how greasy tools can get from skinning, fleshing, and stretching. Any tricks for cleaning such equipment?

I use Disinfect Wipes. I keep 'em clean as the season goes along.
Start off clean each day...
I clean skun'n & flesh'n knife at end of day.
I sometimes forget, but repeat cleaning next day before skun'n & flesh'n.

At the end of the season I soak all my tools in a tub of bleach water and scrub them clean.

I'll skip the dishwasher idea, though I don't doubt it would work.

But when my wife is gone so is MY dish washer..........so what do I do ?

We forget what little nasty's are on our tools, sure we use gloves when skinning........but you put the tools down till tomorrow and the nasty's are still on them.
Add a little extra alcohol to your sani-whips jar because it does evaporate over time.
