While all of you are working on those spedo tans at the redneck riviera June 21, my son John will be shooting smallbore at the USA Shooting nationals at Fort Benning GA, against current world and Olympic Champion's. This year has been a world wind of act. From there back to Camp Perry for 3 position air rifle, then in July NRA smallbore nationals. Plus he got his turkey this year. I'm sorry we won't get to see you all at the convention, but shooting is going to help him get a college education we hope. I do miss you all though. Here is John's dear. Congratulations on a fine shooting career . It is a sport that doesn't get the press that the contact sports do , but is one that requires just as much dedication . I hope he gets as much enjoyment from it as my Son did when he was that age . Many fine memories of Camp Perry and the Olympic training center in Colorado Springs . Shooting with the best is a great way to become your best . My Son got to shoot against the best from an early age, and had no fear . He got to shoot in the Junior Olympics at Colorado Springs for the first time when he was eleven years old . Buy a large trophy case , it saves having to buy a larger one later . LO L . Wishing you the best in future matches . I never told the shooters I coached good luck , as luck has nothing to do with winning . It is all training and focus .

You should be very proud of your son. We know he has put in a lot of hard work to get to this point. This is not to high jack your thread but it is possible to get that scholarship as did this young girl on the right that is from our area. She competed in the ISSF World Championships last year in Changwon, South Korea.
