scheide OP trapper S Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,404 nebraska	I found an old lure formula that calls for mutton fat. Is there anything that could be used that is more readily available? It says to render it down. Thanks for any help.

beartooth trapr trapper B Joined: May 2011 Posts: 7,988 Montana	I got a lure that i use rendered sheep fat in it, makes for a very good grease base and holds up a long time. Well worth the time and effort to make . Let me sugar coat this
