Thanks Zim and everybody. We celebrated with our group of salmon fishing buddies next to the river, which was way too high and unfishable. We made veal marengo for 17 along with dessert. Great time.
Chamacat… unfortunately we've gotten a month's rain in 3 days here, but this morning my wife and I drove toward the Spanish border to buy a new rooster to replace the one who had gender issues, (he ended up in the pot). We got a great looking bird, who has big lungs and will feel like a suicide bomber in heaven when he gets put in with the hens tomorrow morning. I don't have 72, but 7 will suit him fine I think. He's out in the garage now till I head up tomorrow.
and Charlie... yes, I had some cake after lunch.
