I bought a used tundra 45 thousand miles. I have noticed it sounds like it is skipping when under 2000 RPM. I don't notice any hesitation in power. Just wondering has anybody had this before. I am thinking of taking it to the shop and have it checked when they do a brake job.

What do you mean skipping-mis firing?

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Are you sure it's a 4.7? I believe the 2015 came with the 4.6 or the 5.7. They changed from the 4.7 to the 4.6 back in 2007, I believe.

Sorry my 2006 is the 4,7 my 2015 is 4.6. Yes it sounds like it’s misfiring. Maybe it does that for fuel economy?

I believe mis-firing would cause worse fuel economy.
