My lady is vacationing in the Portsmouth Rhode Island area for the next week. Any suggestions on things to see/do? BTW, she didn't ask, I am just curious about what's in the area.

The Rhode Island Red chickens are quite a sight, I hear..................... Funny, I told her to bring back some Rhode Island Reds. She says they are heading to the Newport area tomorrow. Visiting some antique shops and such. Oh, and she said something about getting some oysters..

Plenty of tourist shops and eating places in Newport, RI. Definitely worth exploring.
Eastern CT isn't far from where she is at. It's worth checking out the submarine museum at Groton, CT. Also if she likes casinos, eastern CT has Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun.
