With permission from the owner of an old farm site I’m working at, I was allowed to peek into what’s left of some of the buildings and sheds. In a corner of one shed that’s mostly collapsed there is an old bellows and forge. A stump that once held the anvil is still there and there’s various tools and horse type gear. I’ve seen the portable hand crank set ups before but not the bigger bellows type. Sadly,I’m sure the shed will collapse soon like all the others on the property and another piece of history gone.

I'd be trying to acquire that bad boy! either money or blood sweat and tears! Wont be long and that style will be lost forever! In 20 years that could be a down payment to a university tuition

I will try to acquire forge. The owners don’t seem to care about what little is left of the sheds or what’s in them. I’m sure there are resources online for restoring or maybe someone here has suggestions.

Get as much as you possibly can. Don't ignore hammers, tongs, and other things that even look like they were for blacksmithing.
